The Branch is an uncommon melee weapon that can found by chopping down a tree.
Weapon conditions
Advantages
- Relatively easy to obtain.
- It has a high attack speed, on par with the Crowbar and Katana.
- Decent reach, making it safer to use against zombies.
- Can be easily crafted into three sticks.
Disadvantages
- Very low damage, requiring 3 strikes to the head to down a civilian zombie.
- Because it only drops from trees, obtaining one means that you already possess a generally superior Axe, Fire Axe or Chainsaw.

Trivia
- The animations for the tree branch are the same as for the Bat.
- Strangely enough, a Wooden Spike can slightly be seen in the background of the Branch's icon.
