The Compound Bow is a bow that use Arrows and is able to use the three wooden arrows as ammunition, which must be drawn after every shot. It spawns with the Compound Iron Sights pre-attached by default.

Acquirement:

This weapon can be found at various farm locations on all maps.

Analysis:

Advantages:

• Inflicts very high damage-per-shot.
• Good range
• Arrows can be retrieved.
• Silent.
• Unlike the wooden bows, it allows tactical and sight attachments.
• Very fast reload

Disadvantages:

• It can only hold a single arrow at a time, making it ineffective against large groups of enemies
• It cannot fire without aiming.

History:

Version	Changes
3.14.13.0	Wear was added, with a value of 3.
3.15.1.0	Range decreased from 200 to 150. Damage decreased from 99 to 80.
3.15.5.0	Range buffed from 150 to 200. Ballistic Steps buffed from 30 to 40.

Trivia:

• Like the Crossbow and wooden bows, it doesn't allow barrel attachments.
• In real life, one should not shoot the bow as it is held in-game, as it could lead to a derailment of the cables.
• When scopes are attached to the compound bow, they stick out of the bow. The connector pieces do not even touch the bow.
• The bow in-game doesn't feature cables, unlike an actual compound bow.
