The Katana is a uncommon melee weapon in Classic.
Analysis:
Advantages:
- Deals decent damage-per-hit, and with only one point spent in Warrior is capable of killing civilian zombies with a single normal attack to the head, or military zombies with a single power attack to the head.
- It has a very fast attack speed, surpassed only by knives and the Chainsaw, making it a well-balanced weapon speed-wise and damage-wise.
- Its reach is long, reducing the risk in using it.
- Frequently found in civilian locations.
- Hitting an enemy with the Katana will cause them to bleed.
