Lieutenant Oswald is an NPC on the Liberator. He is responsible for scouting and offers The Player numerous scouting quests, all of which require clearing a Horde Beacon in various locations. Quests are only given after the prerequisite On Air and Getting the Word Out quests are completed.

Quests:

• The Hunt for Jet Fuel at the Shereyavo International airport.
• Mass Production at the Zavod armoured vehicles factory.
• The Wolf's Den at Volk Military Base.
• W.M.D. at Silo 22.
• First Contact at the Oil Rig.
