  • I'd like to know where do you get the upcoming features, like maybe a specific link?

I'm talking in particular with the Swissgewehr, as I find nothing relevent to it-neither on twitter or trello.

    Thanks.

Swissgewehr is in the image files. Model is in the game. Iron Sights and Magazine is in the game.

    • I see. So it's not that Nelson himself *officially* leaked the addition of the weapon. All good. Thanks.

  • Hi,

It would probably be time saving for you to create an editing guide for whatever category/type of thing, so that new editors don't have to randomly corrected. Is there a reason you haven't done this?

    • How do you not understand that I'm talking about the context of editing here, and not the items themselves?

I would like there to be an easily accessible resource that describes how each type of "thing" in the game should be written up in the Wiki. As things are right now, pages are incredibly inconsistent and often flat out wrong. You spend a great deal of time fixing people's mistakes when you could just refer them to a guide that would take you very little time to write, seeing as you're already correcting them based on some kind of template in your head or in obscure/hard to find pages.

I'm not sure I can make this any clearer.

You said in the original post and in reply to the one where I talked about categories, so I assumed we were both talking about categories. I'm glad that's cleared up, but you're still talking to the wrong person about this. :v

If you want editing guides created then you should be telling User:Deathismad that you feel they would be more helpful.

  • Are there pages full of examples of 'correct' items in each category? Because it's getting annoying seeing my files arbitrarily edited to whatever you feel like in the moment, considering I usually work from the most correct looking thing in the category I can find.

If there are no such examples, please make them, and we can both stop wasting time editing things back and forth (and any other editor around). Feel free to fill them with commentary if you need to be specific.

Oh, and there are numerous image files in the filename_id format that are incorrectly sized.

    Edit:

Oh, and why not use leftcurlyleftcurlyPAGENAME}}? It would allow you to copy paste an 'empty' example in a category/type... The name is always given on the page, and for item names, the item name will always be the pagename, no?

    Edit 2:

If all item image_size values are 64px, why even make it an option? Why not set 64px to be the default in the template?

    Edit 3:

I see there is documentation on the template pages -- is there a proper overview of these except the "should be updated" page? I haven't seen it if so.

Frequency is chance, not time. Higher numbers means more frequent. A smaller range means a more consistent frequency,
