|Weaponry (Unturned 3)|
The NATO Tracer uses Tracer Bullets as ammunition. In order to refill a NATO Tracer, 2 Tracer Bullets are required.
Upon being fired, the bullets from the weapon emit a bright, red tracer.
NATO Tracers can be found at Military Locations. These locations are; O'Leary Military Base, the green tent and bridge checkpoint in the Confederation Bridge, the helicopter crash in St. Peter's Island, the tent in Montague and some places in Belfast Airport.
- In real-life, tracer bullets can be filled into any magazine associated with that bullets caliber, meaning a single magazine could contain both tracer and normal rounds.
- Tracer bullets are usually used at night to make it easier for soldiers to know if they hit their target or not, or on a machine gun belt to allow easier aiming during continuous fire. A standard configuration for machine guns is one tracer every 5 rounds.
